Wow, I did not expect my first week of 5th grade to have gone so well. All of the students were very respectful and asked many questions. A few of the questions I would have been apprehensive to answer but considering the situation of our pandemic, I understand why students ask questions about viruses and how to stay safe socially. I really enjoyed decorating and organizing my desk and I take pleasure just seeing it. All of the students behaved well with each other and were very supportive of each other during activities such as reading aloud reading selections from our textbook.
I’m looking forward to next week and can’t wait to get to know the students even more. Can’t wait!
